How do I get to this event?

Our event is located at Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The address for GPS is 1600 Park Drive Allentown, PA 18103.

From interstate 78, use the Lehigh Street exit and then turn north onto S. Jefferson Street. Turn left onto Park Drive at the five points intersection. Follow all the way to the end where volunteers will assist you with parking. 

From route 22, exit South on 15th street toward Allentown, pass YMCA on left. Cross over open grate bridge, go thru next stop light. At 5 point intersection, make a 90 degree turn into the parkway and follow it all the way to the end where volunteers will assist you with parking. 
2. What time should I be there?

Walk-up registration and check-in begins at 7:15 a.m. Look for the Race for Rylie booth. All events will start promptly on-time.If you purchased a t-shirt, you can pick it up during check-in.

3. What is the 5K course like at Lehigh Parkway?
The 5K course is accurately measured, mostly flat, cinder trail in the Parkway. Our race is accurately timed and individual results will be posted.  Prizes will be awarded to age group winners. Good Luck!
4. How long is the noncompetitve walk?
Walkers will follow the same course marked for the 5K, however, the walk is non-competitive and the pace is at your leisure. Feel free to walk all or just a part of the course. 
5. Will there be a raffle again this year?
Yes! You will be able to purchase tickets for the raffle on the day of the event. Raffle winners will be posted after the walk and winners will take home their prizes that day. If you sign up for an event, an email will be sent to you closer to June 25th listing some of the items in the raffle.
6. What if it rains?
The event takes place rain or shine so watch the weather and be prepared.

Are strollers welcome at this event?

Yes! Pack up the strollers and join us for a fun family activity.

9. Where does my money go?

The Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit organization. My husband, Jack, and I are on the Board of Directors for the research foundation.
